The 'Virtual Study Session on LAPA' Conducted Successfully

The Everest Network (TEN) conducted a three day virtual study session on Local Adaptation Plan for Action (LAPA) for its members. The sessions happened on May 11, 14 and June 11, 2023. The session was facilitated by Dr. Deepak Rijal, Chairperson, Local Initiative for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD). 

An expert on biodiversity, agriculture and climate change, Dr. Rijal has worked on formualtion of over a hundred LAPAs across the country. He was invited by the TEN to share his knowledge and insight with the members of TEN in order to enhance their skills and knowledge regarding the subject. The participants seemed very interested in the topic and the session was interactive and fruitful.
