The Everest Network operates under the leadership and guidance of Our Core Group Members. The Core Group is made up of 5 founding members.
Gopal Lama is the Founder and Executive Director of Just Nepal Foundation (JNF). JNF is a non-profit organisation that has been actively working in the Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal to improve access to inclusive quality education, foster youth entrepreneurship, Disaster Risk Reduction, and relief work.
Ram Chandra Paudel is a highly skilled professional trainer/facilitator with extensive experience in the national and international arena. He has decades of experience working closely with and building the capacities of various institutions within the government, public, private and non-profit sectors with a key focus on human development, community development, as well as multicultural/gender issues.
Yangchen Gurung is currently working in the capacity of Project Manager at Lo Gyalpo Jigme Cultural Conservation Foundation. Yangchen holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in Energy and Environment Policy and has experience of working within the sector in the Dominican Republic and the United States.
Rita Tisdall has over thirty years of experience working in development and inclusion; she has an advisory role in the core group.
Krishna Kumar Lamichhane has been working as Program Manager in Community Based Rehabilitation Service (CBRS) Nepal for 30 years now. Krishna holds Master of Philosophy in Economics. He also has experience of teaching Health Economics at Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine Pokhara Campus for four years and economics to the high school students at Global Collegiate School, Pokhara, for twenty years. Apart from teaching and his work at CBRS, he has also been involved in research consultancies as a freelancer.
